All about BHC

Brockham Harness Club was founded in late 1969 by a number of carriage driving enthusiasts to promote their mutual interest in the sport and to arrange various carriage driving activities.

We are one of the longest-established driving Clubs in the country and have had amongst our ranks a large number of members who have competed with great success both Nationally and Internationally.

During the year we hold instruction and demonstration sessions. One and Two Day Events. Fun Days, visits to places of interest, social events and of course, the biennial Carriage Driving Fair at Merrist Wood.

Today the Club's members have a wide range of talents and driving experience. Some are concerned with FEI competitions, whilst others prefer the gentler pastime of showing or pleasure driving.

We also have members who do not have their own turnouts but are happy to help at Club events.

We therefore extend a cordial invitation to anyone interested in carriage driving to join the Club where they can meet people with similar interests and gain access to information, help and advice on driving in general.
